Born in Germany, he trained in window dressing, interior design and architectural model making before he started his professional art career on moving to Michigan USA in 1985.  After returning to Britain, he completed a   2-year HNC Course in Public Art and continued to work and exhibit all over the North East.

The main focus of his work is the urban environment and the ever changing reality of everyday life, pointing out the beauty of the ordinary which is often overlooked and not appreciated.
