Friends Bulletin December 2022

Pipedream by Rolf Wojciechowski

It’s that time of the year when we begin to think about the Christmas period. It’s been a difficult year in many ways, not least of all with the war in Ukraine and how it has effected everyone with the cost of living rises.

At times like this we try to remember the positives in our lives. One subject which can often lift our spirits in times of difficulty is ‘the arts’, whether a practicing artist or an art spectator, it can be very uplifting and put things in perspective.

Things are beginning to develop as far as the Friends of the Hatton. We have a number of art workshops already booked and we are exploring holding possibly two exhibitions next year.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
