A four hour workshop with artist Brenda Procter exploring the fascinating medium of Cyanotype. This is a photographic technique that doesn’t require sophisticated equipment or a darkroom to process the images.
This activity produces images using sunlight to expose shapes on photosensitive paper. We will prepare these in the Learning Room of the Hatton and expose them to sunlight in the bright Long Gallery near the gallery entrance. These images can be used for greeting cards or artworks in their own right.
Please bring shapes: biscuit cutters, old greetings cards for instance, or draw your own. Everything else will be provided.
Charge: £15 for Friends, £20 for non-members
