Friends Bulletin Spring 2024

Dear Friends

We recently had our first Trustees meeting of this year. We meet four times each year to deal with the management of the Friends of the Hatton’s business.

It brings with it a New Year with fresh challenges and opportunities. It’s been a while since our last President retired and we have been debating who should take his place.

I am delighted to report that the Baroness Joyce Quin has agreed to take on the role of President of the Friends of the Hatton. She has a great deal of experience in the ‘Arts’ and numerous other subjects as well as being a member of the House of Lords. I’m sure many of you will be aware of her work as an MP in Gateshead. You will note that later in this bulletin we have included a photograph and short description of some of Baroness Quin’s past and present experience. It marks the beginning of a new journey.
