My speculative creations, called Data Oracles below, were exhibited at Northumbria Design School in March and April. This was part of a celebration of women designers and creative technologists for International Women’s Day. My current work is concerned with how our ethics and values are represented in emerging technologies, such as generative AI. And how artists and designers can play a part in shaping ethical futures.

About the artist
I’ve been coming to FotH workshops and talks for 18 months now. This has greatly increased by range of techniques and creative confidence by meeting a wonderful range of artists. I’m hoping to do a talk and workshop in the autumn, where we will be looking at AI and collage from an artist’s point of view. It promises to be exploratory and fun – no prior use of technology needed!
