Friends Bulletin Summer 2024

Dear Friends

We have just had our Annual General Meeting (AGM) which was well attended. We began it with tea, coffee and biscuits and the opportunity to mix with one another. I thanked the Trustees who had served over the last 12 months and welcomed Baroness Joyce Quin who has agreed to serve as our new President.

All the Trustees agreed to stand for another year but sadly, there were no new volunteers prepared to become new committee members. If any Friends of the Hatton are prepared to become new Trustees or committee members you would be very much welcomed. We meet four times each year in the Hatton Gallery Learning Room.

A number of new ideas/suggestions were put forward by those who attended the AGM which the Trustees will discuss when they next meet. We are also hoping, in the not too distant future, to have a date for this year’s exhibition.

Our workshops and lectures continue to be a great success and the Bulletin is appreciated by everyone.  On behalf of all the Trustees, I want to wish you all a lovely summer.
