Dear Friends
At last, the weather has turned and we have some sunshine which helps life our hearts. Our normal summer exhibition hasn’t materialised this year regardless of all our efforts. We can only assume that all the exhibition space is already booked or for some reason, is not available. I’m sure, like us, those of you who normally exhibit are very disappointed. I feel particularly sad because the is my final year as Chair.
On the bright side we continue with our lectures and workshops. Our Bulletin is very popular with our members and gives a glimpse of all the ongoing work. We are also grateful for the continued use of the Learning Room. We are still looking for volunteers to become Trustees of the Charity. We meet only four time each year.
I do hope you have had a peaceful and fruitful summer.
Bill Jackson
Chair of the Friends of the Hatton
