Multi media artist and maker Jean Tinsley is back to deliver an exciting block printing workshop.
In this workshop you will learn how to print on fabric using special fabric paint and wooden Indian printing blocks to create a unique design on your own calico tote bag which you will take home with you at the end of the workshop.
Jean will begin the workshop by demonstrating how to use the printing blocks after which you will be given a piece of calico to have the chance to try out the printing blocks for yourself and then work out your very own design to print on your tote bag. All tools and materials including sample material, calico tote bag, a range of printing blocks and fabric paints will be provided on the day.
