Dear Friends
It seems a long time ago but a Happy New Year to you all.
At a recent trustee meeting we discussed the forthcoming annual exhibition at the beginning of April. I hope you are all working on your own artwork to exhibit. We were joined by a new possible trustee from the University’s fine art programme.
I want to encourage you all to come to our AGM in April when we elect our trustees and appoint the new officers. This year, by complete co-incidence, myself (chair), Richard (secretary) and John (treasurer) are all resigning having served for a number of years as trustees. This means we are looking to appoint a new Chair, Treasurer and Secretary. We continue to welcome new trustees.
If you are a member of Friends of the Hatton, you will be receiving exhibition forms and AGM information with this bulletin.
Baroness Joyce Quinn (our President) and Keith Merrin the new head of TWAM will be in attendance at the AGM. We are having the AGM in the middle of the exhibition dates which means you can come to see the exhibition and the AGM on the same day.
We look forward to meeting you all.
Bill Jackson
Chair of Friends of the Hatton
