You may well be going to a lot of Late Show events next weekend and if so, why not pop into the NewBridge Project in Sandyford to see the First Year University Fine Art Students’ exhibition In a Pinch.
Friday 16 May 2025, 6-10:30pm
The Late Shows at the NewBridge Project sees members of The Collective Studio artist development programme and First Year Fine Art students from Newcastle University present In a Pinch: a range of 2D, 3D and audio/visual artworks in a collectively built installation. This support structure borrows ideas (and timber) from NewBridge’s recent ‘Open’ Open exhibition. In a Pinch will also be open on Saturday 17 May, 12-5pm.

Simultaneously, in the main gallery space is Resounding Diasporic Sonic Worlds – an exhibition and events programme exploring music and resistance among various communities and their diasporas. This exhibition launches on 9 May and runs until 19 July.
On the night of the Late Shows there will be a bar and NewBridge Books will also be open.
