Dear Friends Welcome to our Autumn Bulletin. The appointment of new committee members at the reconvened AGM means that the Friends of the Hatton is able to continue. When the possibility of closure threatened the group, I decided to volunteer as Chair. As a past manager of a charity, I know how important members, trustees … Continue reading Friends’ Bulletin Autumn 2025

Dear Friends At last, the weather has turned and we have some sunshine which helps life our hearts. Our normal summer exhibition hasn’t materialised this year regardless of all our efforts. We can only assume that all the exhibition space is already booked or for some reason, is not available. I’m sure, like us, those … Continue reading Friends’ Bulletin Autumn 2024

Dear Friends As I look out of my study window, I can see in front of me the countryside. The colours are magnificent, the trees are wonderful autumn colours, the sun is shining brightly and the sky is a deep blue. It’s one of those rare moments this autumn when we are without rain and … Continue reading Friends Bulletin Winter 2023

Dear Friends  The weather continues to be gloomy and as I look out of my window it is pouring down. The forecast for this week is much the same and it must be difficult for parents whose children are having the summer break. On a more positive note, our summer exhibition went really well as … Continue reading Friends Bulletin Autumn 2023
