A note from our Acting Chair

Dear Friends

My name is Bill Jackson and I recently took on the role as acting Chair for the Friends of the Hatton until the next AGM. My wife and I have been involved in the Hatton for a number of years albeit not serving as Trustees but as ordinary members.

Like all trusts and charities, we are beginning to recover following two years of the Covid pandemic. However, things are still very slow and we are keen to get back all the members which we lost during the period of the pandemic.

The Trustees are busy planning the months ahead and hoping to produce a programme of activities and events, some of which are included in this bulletin. For the hands-on artists among the membership, you will find details of how to enter the Friends Late Summer Exhibition which will take place from 12th September to 23rd September.

We have use of the Hatton Learning room for those who wish to hold talks and discussions. We are also exploring ways in which our members can display their own art works.

Thank you to all the Friends of the Hatton who continue to support our work and for those of you who have not renewed your membership please consider re-joining us.  We would also encourage new members to join the Friends of the Hatton.
