I joined a group of happy ladies in March, to learn about Block Printing on fabric, from artist Jean Tinsley. Jean demonstrated the use of printing blocks and paint, and showed examples of possible designs. We then practiced using the printing blocks on a spare piece of calico, before designing our own tote bags. I enjoyed trying out different patterns and colours, and seeing the wonderful designs by the other ladies at the workshop. A very enjoyable workshop, so glad I went”.
