On the 6th December I attended a workshop held by Kath Price on Festive Folk Art using vintage fabrics. Kath provided pre-cut designs of festive trees, angel wings, Dala Horses and wild stars.
We were invited to rummage in her stock of bits and bobs to find beads, button, charms etc to decorate the Christmas ornaments. We were also provided with templates and fabric to make a second ornament. She demonstrated how to make a Suffolk Puff (a tightly gathered circle of fabric), to be used as decoration on a drawstring bag.
